I am so happy that I bought this gorgeous blue and white gazing ball. To spice it up for night, I added a string of blue solar lights, making sure the stopper was not damaged. So pretty with very good craftsmanship. It came sooner than I expected.

First off, the picture depicted in the description does not do this garden globe justice. It is a very pretty blue with white swirls. I was looking for either a replacement birdbath bowl to fit on the base or a globe. I didn't want to spend over $25 so this fit within my budget and was certainly cheaper than replacing the birdbath bowl. The packing was incredible, lots of bubble wrap wrapped around the box and the globe was placed in molded styrofoam that practically ensured the globe would arrive in perfect condition. I am happy with my purchase.

This is much prettier than I expected. Living in So Cal, the regular drought conditions make it hard to keep flowers happy, so we’ve decorated with a lot of blown glass. Over our gardens, we have eleven glass globes. This particular globe is not multi-colored and bright like most of them we have, but it’s one of my favorites because it’s well made—no bubbles or heat lines in the glass, for example. This globe is a good value.

I put this globe out in my yard and it started to fade within 2 days. I took it inside and found out later that you can buy a uv protectant spray to prevent fading. I bought a can which costs 18.95 and sprayed the globe with it. So far it has still retained it's red color. I am not happy that I had to buy a spray for the globe as I thought since it was made from glass that the color of the glass would be in the glass, not treated on the outside.

We love this gazing ball. When I unpacked it, I must admit I thought it wasn't very colourful and wouldn't brighten up our deck. But once you get it out into the daylight and the sun shines on it, it's gorgeous! So many different colours and it almost looks like there are lights inside of it sometimes. We're very happy with our purchase and would buy one for a gift should the occasion arise.

The colour is exactly as the picture looked which is why I ordered this one - it is a blue with a touch of purple - absolutely gorgeous. One little dimple in it, which just indicates to me that it is actually hand made. I can't wait to put it on a pedestal in my shade garden! Going now!

The Gazing Ball was fine and as expected. The stand for it is very bad - weak frame bent when I tried to put it in the ground and the (small) piece to hold the ball broke off. Not worth any money.
