My daughter has a small Chihuahua that goes with us just about everywhere. This is the perfect solution to take a long water and food. She eats so little this will actually last her several days. It is awesome to not have to worry about finding somewhere to get water for her. It has built-in bowls for both water and food. Very convenient and very practical.

So I have to give big points in that I ALWAYS lose my cat's bowls when traveling, and with this gadget I did not. For a small/medium dog this is probably a great item. For a cat it was kind of overkill. A water bottle and a glass jar of cat food would take up less space (BUT I'd no double misplace the bowls). It doesn't hold a whole lot of food and water so it would be a day-trip-only container for a big dog. It's nice to have, filled up, in the bottom of his stroller, so I know I always have food, water, and bowls on hand. It did not leak. My personal jury is out as to whether it's better than separate containers. I'll report back after I've used it awhile.

The food portion holds over two cups of food and the bowls are a good size. It holds a good amount of water. This is perfect if you are traveling and need a meal or two on the go. I use mine for doggy daycare. I feed and water my dog at pick up so she sleeps during the ride home and this works perfectly.

I wanted to love this, because I've been looking for an easy travel option for my puppy when we're in the car or on day trips. Up until this point I've been carrying two collapsible bowls, a bag of food and a jug of water. This seemed like such a nice option, two in one and I can carry it on it's own strap for when we're at the lake or on the road. While this is great for food, the water pretty much leaks right out. It's not easy to carry on it's strap when walking - I never got to the point of taking it up into the woods - because it bangs so hard against my side because it's unbalanced because the water is so much heavier than her food.I've taken to just packing food on one side and treats on the other and keeping it in her day bag.

Would not recommend very cheap plastic dropped mine from 1 foot high and the thing shattered
