I like that I am not wasting water that is not used. It took a bit of time for my dog to get used to drinking out of the attached "bowl". Loves it now. I put it down to dog's level, press the button and allow the water to stream out in increments as I monitor how much the dog is drinking. It sounds clunky but we have it down to a science and it's become quite easy. I rarely need to return water to back to the bottle, but that's always an option. ( Don't see this is any different than a dog returning to same bowl throughout the day.) Don't think this would work as well for larger dogs since the bottle is fairly small, but we've always come home with plenty left, and I use it on flowers. Made of hard plastic, have dropped it without it breaking. Obviously not insulated; I use ice water which works great for our needs. Fits in a water bottle holder I have, but have also carried by wrist strap.

1st time using it and it does not feed water form water bottle. My dog was very thirsty in his July Mississippi heat. Would not work had to manually pour water in to the cup.I was 2 day over the return date my fault for not testing it. I hope all your products are not a disappointment like mine.

Great on the go Bottle and if pup don't drink the water just push the button and the water goes back in so no mess when traveling

On/Off button didn't work so it wouldn't dispense the water. I waited too late to try and return it and now I am stuck with it.
