This thing probably costs pennies to manufacture. It works pretty well but I noticed that sometimes I have to press really hard to get all the skin off. So now I just press really hard all the time, it's not like I'm going to hurt the garlic lol But it's still better than any old-fashioned, manual method.

I had this in my shopping list for a while and decided to bite the bullet and give it a go. I am glad I did! It took me a few tries to get the motions down right, but when I did, wow. My Garlic confit is so much easy to make, Thanks!

I started cooking about 50 years ago. Breaking up garlic by hand and peeling by hand.When i was cooking for five people i used pre peeled garlic or bulk grated garlic.But now i am just cooking for two.The pre prepped garlic goes bad before i get through even half of it, so i am going back to real garlic bulbs.This tool makes it easy - i wish i found it earlier.You just take a whole bulb of garlic and give it a smash with your hand.Now you can get separate cloves. Cut the ends off each clove you need.Put in this silicone sleeve and give a smash with your hand.Give it a firm roll a few times and you have a clean garlic clove.It may sound like a lot of work, but it really only takes a few seconds per clove.And the fresh garlic is so much better than the prepped garlic.

I bought this thing on a whim just to see if it worked and saved me time. It works! I've been peeling garlic to cook for a long, *long* time and this is a clever idea that makes it go faster. Some pieces of garlic peel faster than other - those that are rounder go faster than those with straighter sides. Cleans easily. So it's easy to live with in every way.

You first hav to tap n loosen the head of each garlic clove on the kitchen counter and you hav to roll one one garlic clove at a time ! Works like a charm! Must have if yu hate peeling Garlic..
