They look the same and they appear to be the same size but the black one does not work properly. I have to really fiddle with it to get it to peel the cloves. Meanwhile, the white one is easy, just put the clove in, roll it around a few times and it comes out neatly peeled. Awesome!!

It does exactly what it claims to do. It effortlessly peels garlic. Just put a clove or 2 (depending on clove size) inside, roll it around a few times, and PRESTO....the garlic is peeled. No more "smash and peel by hand." A wonderful time-saver!

The silicone is too thin and folds over on itself while trying to peel the garlic

I bought this to replace an older silicone garlic peeler that tore after many years of use. This was much thinner silicone than my old one. The groove placement is also different. I believe the grooves are too closely spaced together so it doesn’t peel garlic. Returned for a refund. I’m trying to find another option for a replacement.

Quick and easy to use and handy. They don’t take much space in the spoon and fork drawer. Would definitely recommend.
