This gadget is the best thing since sliced bread!Peels the garlic quickly & easily...don't know why it took some one so long to come up with it.Bought one for all my family members at Christmas.They all love it!

It is much harder to crush the garlic than I expected. A great deal of pressure is required to actually get the garlic through the holes. It is also difficult to get the garlic out of the holes. I used a sharp knife to swipe across the crushed garlic inside the crusher, but the garlic stayed inside many of the holes. The enclosed brush must be used to clean the garlic out of the holes.

It accomplishes the job but not easily -- a lot of elbow grease needed to succeed...but note: I am elderly with arthritc neuropathy hands so that informs my judgement! Good product though.

As many other reviews have mentioned, this product is just not that easy to use to mince garlic. I bought it for my mom but she wasn't able to use it due to not having enough strength, and also told me that it isn't that easy to clean after use. A lot of the garlic also gets stuck in the holes and it takes some time to poke it all out unless you're ok with flushing it away with water and wasting it. The "roller" tool that is supposed to make it easier to peel the garlic actually worked surprisingly well however, although for flatter pieces it could not get the peel off at all.

Useless! Just smashes the clove with very little coming up through the holes. Most of the clove goes to waste.
