Brass Check Valve
Made of solid brass, rit has the characteristics of corrosion resistance, high temperature ductility and low magnetic permeability.Prevent fluid backflow. Widely used in fuel/air/liquid/oil/gas, pipeline applications and connections, and can be used in various measuring devices and collectors.
Temperature Range
High hardness premium solid brass with thick wall, more durable than iron and iron galvanized pipe fittings. Premium brass can withstand up to 250°F.
Maximum Pressure
Made of high-quality brass, good toughness, strong impact resistance, and maximum working pressure of 200psi.

Precisely milled, threads are tighter and deeper, not easy to slip, smooth threads will reduce the resistance during installation.

It has a rubber seal on the valve plate.hope it holds up in diesel.

I got the 1 inch female back flow preventers. It comes with some thin Teflon tape which I threw away. Using a few wraps of quality Teflon tape provided a good seal. The threads are shallow so if the pip you are connecting has a long taper of male threads you might need to grind the length down a bit.

I finally did my move to the Tenn Mountains, got my water system up and running a few days ago, and this valve leaks. I just amazed. I used brass coupling, Monster paste, etc... all my other joints, unions, connections work fine with no leak.... really disappointed as I now have to disassemble my pipes after shutting off my well water pump, tear down, and start again. Not sure whom is making these fittings or are they the ones from China as they try to copy USA standards for NPT fittings.... I have found China's NPT threads do not fully match USA threading - not sure why. I just wasted my money.Aug 06, 2024:Contacted by seller and received excellent service and refund pending.... I do not personally blame the seller and like most, you purchase these items in bulk and sell them. I was just upset as I live off-grid and needed everything to work correctly. Will buy from seller in future.NH

Not enough threads on the output side. Cannot keep it from leaking, even with only 24" of water column. Absolute junk!
