A good part to look at if you have a coolant leak. Good quality hose. Perfect fit. Spacing is tight so recommend getting rid of the band clamp and using a standard hose clamp that you can screw to tighten.

Yeah, it's a hose. It fits perfectly, is made in the USA, and seems to be good quality. Doesn't have as much cording in it compared to my old hose, but who cares? Some crummy reinforcement didn't do much for preventing the hose from bloating up and turning to mush at one end.And yes, if you need to replace the distributor o-ring (or distributor itself), you should go ahead and change this thing. It's not expensive, and being stubborn (or cheap) isn't going to change the fact that your bloated up hose is misting coolant all over the place. Also, in order to install the hose, you will need to remove the air intake hose, the distributor, and strut bar if you have one (or move it enough to reach). Your bad, leaky hose is going to be basically glued to the engine, so yeah. You're not yanking it off from the other side. Add this to your major car repair weekend kit.

I bought a new Heater Hose to replace my old one, which had become swollen due to an oil leak from a faulty O-ring. The replacement hose appears to be of high quality and has been working well thus far. However, I faced some difficulties while installing it. Specifically, I found it challenging to expand the factory clamps enough to fit them over the hose after attaching it to the outlets. This made the installation process longer and more frustrating than I had expected.

Great fit with no cutting required. Identical to the genuine Honda part but much more affordable. On my engine I removed the air intake snorkel tube then used very long needle nose pliers to undo the hose clamp on the old leaky hose with NO NEED to disturb or unbolt the distributor. Recommend using a twisting motion as you firmly pull on the old hose to get it to come off. Look on YouTube for videos on how to install it. With some patience and the pliers I mentioned you can save a $100 trip to the mechanic and spend an afternoon getting your hands dirty under the hood while you save money doing it yourself.

It's as good as the one from AutoZone and less than half the price. It was a pain to install but not the fault of the hose. Highly recommend if you want to save money. This is the hose under the distributor.
