Spend the extra cash & get a Gates Blue. In the long run you'll have to change the timing belt less frequently since these last longer. and that saves you more than the added cost of this belt. I dropped one on a 2003 Audi A4 w/ a 1.8 liter. Works great!

Excellent quality belt for my high performance engine build. It was used on a VW 16v Engine. But I believe this is the replacement for a vw 1.8t engine.

This belt survived a 70 MPH crash that shattered the transmission cross member, cam pulley, and harmonic balancer. I would say this is an extremely tough belt.
