I was able to repair several clarinets with this kit (you will have to get some hot melt glue separately). Just know that there are only enough pads to completely re-pad a SINGLE clarinet. So if you need two 12 mm pads, for example, you'll have to buy another set. Not sure why they put "saxophone mouthpiece" in the description for this item. It has nothing to do with either. It is simply a complete set of pads to repair one clarinet. I was able to heat up the key cups and place the pads on them, and even heat the cups WITH the pads on them, and they didn't smoke or bubble. Of course, if you over-do the heat, you can ruin anything. But for the price, these are more than up to the job. I am completely happy with them!
