How to Insert Ink Cartridge:
Step 1: Disassemble the Pen: Pull out the ink refill converter, then you can see a protrusion in the grip section, this part is what punctures the cartridge and carries ink to the tip.
Step 2: Insert the Opening into the Grip Section: Insert the cup-like rim end into the grip section.
Step 3: Press Firmly: Push the cartridge in firmly until you feel the cartridge puncture. This may take more force than you expect.
Step 4: Leave the Pen Tip Down: Wait until ink saturates the feed.
Warm Tips:
1. For the broad nibs, the flat tip of the nib must fit the paper surface completely all the time, while you also should keep the angle between the pen and the paper surface between 35 degrees and 45 degrees to get a better ink flow.
2. Do not allow the ink to dry in the nib as this will stop the flow of ink. Carry and store your pen upright to prevent leakage.

Actually a very good set I tried them all and worked great all but 07 nib which is fine nib wouldn't deliver enough ink I would still buy it again being all the rest worked perfectly

I used all the tips with cartridges and they do not work. The ink just does not flow and the skipping is terrible. I was really looking forward to using these but sadly, I will be returning these.

It has two pens and several inks so that I can use different colors. It came in a cute little box which is great for storage and the pen plunger option makes it possible for me to use many different colors.

I have done calligraphy off and on for the past 55 years so I would be considered an artist reviewing this pen set. It comes with five nibs and two pens. The extra pen is really helpful when using two different nibs in one project. The entire kit is very small in size but packs a good punch as a great calligraphy set. The kits comes with everything you need except paper to do calligraphy. In that I can tuck the kit away on my desk, it has increased my calligraphy practice three-fold. The ink flows easily but didn’t pool or blot, which makes this kit a lot better than most. For the price, I expected less product. I was so surprised!
