This is my second geeksmart lock and it's great. One thing I do want to point out is that in case you are having hard time finding the lock with Bluetooth, enable the location as well on your phone and it will find it.The lock itself appears to be solid. I like the feel of the handles on both sides when opening the door. The placement of fingerprint sensor is also on point. The setup using the app is quite easy, just follow on screen instructions and add few fingerprints from finger that you will most frequently use and you are done. The app allows many ways to mess with the way security is setup and I like how you can set timeouts on a fingerprint. You can also turn off auto lock so that you can keep the door unlocked.Overall, I would recommend this lock to others.

Used this to lock an indoor wine/champagne room. It was very easy to install and set up, adding and deleting thumb prints is a total breeze--and you can have TWO "admins" if you want to add someone, either admin is able to approve and set. When it unlocks, there is a green light and a voice says "access granted/unlocked". I like that it automatically locks 30-60 seconds after opening (depending on your preference.) I would recommend this to friends and family without reservation.

This does what I need it to do but not perfect. The finger scan is not like the scan on your iPhone. You will scan your finger 4 times when setting it up. To open the door you need to touch it exactly like one of those 4 scans.Multiple ways to open the door.1) The app works very good. 2) It comes with a backup key. 3) If your batteries die out you can plug in a micro USB cable to power it up. 4) And of course the finger scan.CONS: Usually takes a couple of tries to place your thumb exactly where it needs to be in order to open the door. You can only lock the door using the app. You either set the app to automatically lock the door after a certain amount of time or you use the app to lock it each time you want it locked. There is not a button on the handle to lock it. Also, this only works using bluetooth. Therefore you cannot open or lock the door remotely if you are not within 30 feet of the lock. There is no option to use wifi. That being said, it looks good and is very good quality. It does what I need it to do. Wifi options would have been awesome. to have.

I love these locks. We already had another style of the lock but wanted to try the lever handle style. They look great. They were fast to install and they work so smoothly! I think the fingerprint unlocking is even faster than the other style we have. I love it!!

I bought this lock to use as an office door lock inside my home. I've had this installed for a few days now, and I think I should mention the Cons for this lock first to anyone considering it:1) The lock does not appear to have any way of manually locking it. You would think the button on the interior side would do this, but unless I'm missing something that's not the case. It's just a mode button that long pressing will turn on/off "Secure Lock Mode" which basically enables or disables the fingerprint scanner. That leaves unlocking from the interior side, the key, or the app. The mode button aside, the only way to "lock" this handle is either automatically (timed after unlocking, selectable from 5s to 60s), or via the app.2) The app/lock have very poor Bluetooth connectivity! I would say at best the app has communicated to the lock via Bluetooth (even at ~1 foot away) perhaps 1 in 3 tries. Sometimes it works fine at 20 feet like it should, but other times you get the Bluetooth timeout error that others have reported.3) The manual is a bit poor. The grammar/spelling is clearly a translation, and some of the steps are a little confusing or inapplicable (i.e. leftovers from previous lock revisions). It's a door lock at the end of the day though, so it wasn't difficult to ultimately figure out. Also it doesn't really go into how to use the lock (like the aforementioned mode button), but rather just installing and downloading/connecting to the app.4) The battery compartment could confuse some people. It doesn't have any clear +/- symbols, just a long spring (typically for the - side) and short spring (most devices have this as a flat piece, and it's for the + side). Also the screw on the small cap is not captive, so it's easy to come out and get lost if you're not careful. Now for the Pros:1) Installation is pretty straight forward, even with the manual issues mentioned above. The 2-inch door handle hole is a pretty tight fit, and post installation feels pretty solid. You also get a couple extra parts (they give 4 door handle screws, when it only uses 2), as well as a micro usb power cable (you'll need to provide your own power brick or A/C adapter though).2) The fingerprint scanner seems to work well. After adding the admin print(s), the scanner seems solid at recognizing added prints, and blocking everything else.3) The locking mechanism itself seems fine... as an interior door lock like I'm using it for. It in no way feels heavy duty, so I would NOT trust it for an exterior door. For an interior bedroom door, etc., it's perfectly fine in my opinion. All in all this door lock is "OK" at best. Honestly I'm not sure I'll keep it. I could probably overlook most of its Cons, but the inability to manually lock it without "requiring" it to be locked via automatic time lock or the app is kind of a deal breaker honestly. If I figure out/learn how to manually lock it, I'll of course update my review. Lastly I want to mention for anyone using the Wi-Fi Gateway that I think this device is technically a TTLock, so that Alexa integration is probably what you're looking for if you have a G2 Gateway (FYI that gateway is generic, so you don't need the Geek Smart version if you find another one that's cheaper).

After installation and downloading app which is a little bit challenging you have to stand with your phone right next to the doorknob for it to pick up the Bluetooth. Once it connected to Bluetooth the rest of the app was easy to set up for fingerprints. For some reason it stopped connecting with Bluetooth which means you can't get in using your fingerprint, luckily I had the key on me. I don't know if it's a glitch in the app or in the handle itself. Either way it has to be changed out to the original door knob until a solution is found. I have ordered the gateway and hopes that that will solve problem. I really didn't want to spend another $30 on a door knob. We'll see if it works if not everything goes back.

Great lock with multiple fingerprint options. It can also be locked or unlocked through the app.

I really really love this door lever. I use this product for my bedroom door and it’s amazing the auto lock ( you can turn off if you wish ) and the many ways to get in the Touch ID works with only my fingerprint. I Can unlock through the application or with siri and a key they provided overall well built and recommend. My friends ask all the time where I bought this

Manually opening with our digital fingerprints is awesome. It does it's job and that's why the 3 stars. Points taken for loudness and poor Bluetooth/remote functionality. Install was relatively simple, just take your time and as they say "measure twice before cutting". We bought two door handles. The first install we over cut the opening and now our door rattles with any movement in or outside the bedroom. The second install was perfect. If I remember correctly, the product came with a tool to trim the opening for the knob. The product comes at factory set volume, too loud. Your cell phone would have to be within a few meters of the product for the Bluetooth functionality to work. Not a "remote" usage product. In my opinion, the price point is too high for JUST a fingerprint lock. It is not "Smart" which would imply that one could unlock/lock remotely from whatever location within the house or away from the house, wherever there is a WIFI signal.

Il faut souvent s’y reprendre à deux fois pour la reconnaissance digitale mais c’est n’est pas vraiment très grave!

Device is used and blue tooth will not work to setup, hence any finger will work to open door.

The first few weeks were OK, but after about 8 weeks, the lock has a grown a mind of its own. It decides to not lock itself sometimes after the time lapses (I have set it for 15 secs). This is extremely frustrating because I have tried to reset the device multiple times but it wont fix.
