Solved my no power/no start problem. Easy to install but requires the dealer to program it before it will work with your vehicle. Your vehicle will not operate after installing the replacement until it is programmed.

I experienced a common problem with my 07 Tahoe, It would not turn over. After some diagnostics found it to be a faulty BCM. This one has a different part number than the one in my Tahoe however it worked great! Easy to install under the drivers side knee bolster. This unit does need to be "re flashed" or programed by a dealer or certified Indy shop (Cost me $300). I tried to program it my self but no luck and towed the Tahoe to a local shop.

The listing stated genuine part but it was not. Totally misleading. The part also looked used. Would definitely not recommend it at all.

BCM works properly once it was programmed. I gave it a 4 stars because I was unable to use the core rebate form since ACDelco could not find my Amazon order ID.

This thing really saved my bacon. Long story short if you need a BCM then this is the way to go. I ended up paying the dealer to install it because they had to program it but the cheapest all round to fix well a problem you can’t fix yourself.

We saved so much money buying this installing it ourself and having it programmed. Total was under $200 vs the dealer quote of near $1000. 2007 z71 Silverado new body style, randomly nothing worked no lights, remote keyless wouldn't work, if you tried to start the truck the dash would light up but wouldn't attempt to turn the starter if yoi waited 10-20 min or did a few battrry resets it would most lilely start working again. After weeks we troubleshooting we traced it back to a bad BCM. good to know that GM''s awful electronic solder jobs are still alive and kicking.

Dealer wanted 350 for this part....Don't let dealer tell you they have to charge you for taking apart dash. It's a plug and play kind of moment...no bolts, no screws...right above your ankles in drivers seat. DON'T let them tell you any different. Just like plugging in 7 phone jacks...very simple install, but dealer has to program into truck. 125.00 install at dealer. If they give you hard time tell them " I know how to plug in a wire"

Had a bunch of weird, unrelated codes coming up and this solved it. Must go to dealer to be set up properly but worth the hassle. My headlights would not function properly occasionally. During very cold weather, it would show up as overheating when it was not possible to be overheating. Shut it off and start again and it would be fine. Also other issues I cannot remember were also resolved. I hate having those code lights on. Most issues are easily resolved with a new sensir or even just a wire fixed or a hose knocked out of place.
