My liftgate release switch stopped working on my 2009 Suburban so I had to either open the liftgate using the fob or the button in the front of the car. After a month, I couldn't handle it anymore so decided to fix it. This GM part was a perfect fit and I was able to replace it in less than 15 minutes. I found an installation video on YouTube which made installation a breeze.

The hardest part was removing the back panel. Once it was off it was a quick install. I used a socket set, a drill, and a set of torx drivers. Its nice being able to use the back door again. Reassembly was a breeze.

Fit well, was a direct replacement for the oem. 4 stars only because the quality wasn't quite to oem standard but the savings are well worth the purchase.

Fit perfect came in AC Delco packaging and arrived on schedule. Very happy. Could only open my rear lift gate with remote or front controls. I used this replacement part and My door works again.
