This 6-inch Flex Precision economy-priced stainless steel rule has etched black graduations for easy reading and long life. The graduations on side 1 are in 32nds and 64ths. On side 2 is a decimal equivalents chart. The width is 15/32". The sliding pocket clip allows for use as depth or height gauge.

Markings are easy to read even for someone like me that needs glasses. Easy to use very sturdy. I used to help make straight lines for stippling grip modules and magazines. Worked great.

It seems like a little thing but I underline a lot while studying and was making a mess of it. Can't draw a straight line I guess. With my new Bible it now is much easier and neater with this ruler. It conveniently clips on to the page I am on so it serves as a bookmark as well.

Having ordered a few of these over the years, it seems they are no longer Made in USA. Still good and affordable, although they are now a little thicker and the clip is a little…different.

I have used General Tools and Instruments for many years. Their steel rules are made in the USA and represent an excellent value. The six-inch pocket rule is excellent for technical work with both 1/32 and 1/64 inch graduations. The pocket clip doubles as a stop for depth measurements. Its small size makes it easy to carry in a pocket or store in a desk drawer or tool bag.

This little ruler is amazing! It’s high quality, very durable, and the stainless steel gives it a nice, professional feel. The best part is the convenient clip—it fits perfectly in my shirt or pants pocket, so I always have it on hand. It’s super easy to carry around and great for quick measurements. I absolutely love it!

These are what I wanted but these are rather flimsy ones. I already had one and it’s substantial unlike these. I don’t use them that often so guess these will do.

There are lots of things I need to measure precisely where a 25 ft tape measure or even a foot-long ruler is overkill. I keep a metal machinist ruler like this in every toolbox for taking critical measurements in small places. This is well made and a bargain at the price I paid. I bought two so I could place them at 90 degrees to show height & width for a macro photography project to document my wife’s jewelry collection.

I use this at work (machinist). Pocket clip works great to keep it in your breast pocket and the flat edge allows you to set a measurement which comes in handy for some measurements in batches like parting off pieces and the like.
