Installed on a 200 amp GE gold mark breaker box. Comes with the drill bit and all the hardware necessary. Plus it comes with all of the code required labeling. You do have to remove the front cover of the panel to install properly. Test fit everything and mark your holes accordingly. Then drill with the supplied drill bit. The mechanism slides easily with very little slop. When installed correctly, will prevent you from turning on the generator breaker while the main breaker is in the on position. For my panel, you must install the generator breaker in the top right position. Will not work in any other spot.

So when you backfeed a circuit breaker from a generator the back fed breaker needs to be fastened in place because if the breaker were to come loose the stab termains on the breaker would be energized. I would be curious if anyone has had an electrical inspection and passed using the provided zip ties. Typically the top breaker area has a point of attachement with a screw hole for a UL approved hold down kit.

Installation was extremely easy and it’s a huge money saver over a Gen Tran Or transfer switch and subpanel. Would highly recommend.

I was expecting some little piece of overpriced sheet metal just so I could meet code requirements. I was pleasantly suprised at the heft and quality of a simple little slider... and it even fits and works well.
