The Tygon formulation F-4040-A plastic construction is designed for use with various fuels and lubricants, including gasoline, kerosene, heating oils, cutting compounds, and glycol-based coolants. It resists the swelling, hardening, and embrittlement typically caused by hydrocarbon-based fluids. The tubing has a working temperature range of -35 to 165 degrees F, a durometer (hardness) of 57A, and the working pressure ratings vary by tube size. This plastic tubing is rated as very flexible as it bends more easily than flexible or rigid tubing. The tubing is suitable for non-potable fluid service transferring coolants, heating fuels, polishing fluids and other lubricants, and for engine line and garden hose applications, among others. Plastic tubing is used to transfer liquids, air, or solids, and it is characterized by a round, rectangular, or square shape and a hollow center. Plastic tubing is crimp-resistant and varies in bend radius (flexibility), chemical resistance, wall thickness, durometer hardness, and temperature and pressure handling abilities. Great product. And it is real tygon; not a knock off. I use it in my giant scale gas powered aerobatic RC planes and it works great. Viton in the tank; tygon everywhere else. Highly recommend.

I used this to replace all the vacuum lines on my Honda VTX1300. Probably overkill for vacuum line, but it really is a nice material. It is far more flexible than any other PVC tubing I’ve used, yet is very sturdy. Plus, that hi-vis color! Gave 4 stars on longevity because I’ve read great things about Tygon tubing, however I’m unable to speak for its longevity since it’s only been a couple weeks

Exactly 5 feet long with perfect inside, and outside dimensions. Seems to be the appropriate material for the job. A little more expensive than I would like. I repaired three carburetors with this and another sized hose. Lets see how they hold up.

My first time to try Tygon, I heard it is well made. It works, but so does the poorly made Chinese stuff. I will try to remember 3 years from now to update. Cheap hose won't last but a year or 2, if that.

Bought it for my om617 Mercedes diesel fuel return from the injectors. Doesn’t handle the warm fuel. Material becomes flimsy and week and slips off injector return ports even with nylon ties on
