Fits 02 chevy silverado 4.8. I know there are other knock sensors that are less expensive but had some bad reviews saying they were not oem. I chose to buy these instead for a slightly higher price but at least they are oem. I installed these about 4 months ago in my truck. I had no check engine codes bug I knew the manifold intake gasket was bad. I would have trouble keeping a steady idle at start up during cold mornings. I had already cleaned throttle body and filter so I had a feeling it was the intake manifold. I went ahead and ordered the intake manifold kit along with these knock sensors and wire harness. I figured I would just replaced everything under there and not worry about it. Truck has 165k miles and I plan to keep it till it dies. Truck sounds a lil louder and feels more powerful than before.The old knock sensors did not look bad at all but I replaced them anyway.

This is listed as a genuine GM parts. Has part number stickers. Shiped loose in a bubble envelope. Not putting these in my engine.

I have used aftermarket on our 6L Denali after the originals lasted over 220000 miles. Both sets of aftermarket from our normal parts dealer failed and would have been replaced under warranty. The problem is replacing them. The Intake has to be removed for access to them. This time I just screwed them into the cylinder head and replaced the harness as I did with the first 2 replacements. The originals weren't even rusty so the original failure was not from corrosion.Installation was an essay this time because I didn't spend the 2-3 hours to replace the intake saving time and money on the replacement gaskets. They have been in for over 2 months, Passed VA emissions and no check engine light

These knock sensors have worked on my 01 GMC Sierra 5.4 for 3 years now with no check engine light. I did install A new wiring harness for the knock sensors when I installed the knock sensors.

Product was received in a timely manner. These fit perfectly. They have been installed about one year and have performed well. I would buy again.

I was leary because both packages were GM but were opened and taped shut. The sensors were also different colors, one gold one silver but I figured must be from a different lot. Nope, the only lasted 2 days and my engine light came on, just a week before I need emissions on my truck. TOTALLY got ripped off. These were NOT OEM knock sensors.

Sold me a junk knock sensor with a convenient 30 day return window. By the time i got to install it the window had lapsed and it throws a knock sensor code as soon as the ecm finishes its checks. Customer support (whats available as "support" as the window is closed) refers you to GMpartsdirect but they literally have no affiliation.

When replacing with water intrusion around rear sensor below intake replace harness also will most likely have corrosion at connector add rtv sealer around 3/4 of seal on harness leaving back section free of sealer GM recommends removing foam at back of intake this leaves a opening for rodents to get under the intake.
