I bought a used 2005 Accord v6 recently and have been scrounging the internet trying to diagnose a rough downshifting problem when the car is in or going through the lower 2 gears. The car has 200k miles on it so nothing was out of the question. Some good people online recommended I change the trans filter, and do a flush of the trans fluid (dw-1), among other things to fix the issue. I had a feeling seeing the pictures of these old filters that this was probably the most important thing to do. Spoiler: My filter looked just like these pictures; black, muddy, and brittle. It did its job to completion). After running the flush, swapping it out, and refilling it I was surprised to find that I never got the chance to say goodbye to my downshifting problem. The car was smooth but before but wow, what a difference. All I have to say, is it fits a 2005 V6 EX Accord, and if you have a history of servicing these ATF on this car, swap this filter out. It was like getting a new car for me.

My 2005 accord v6 was going to what is called false neutral. Would drive great for 3 minutes and the lose all gear. I would turn it off and on and it would drive for 3 minutes again. I tried doing a drain a fill on the transmission 4 times with no change. Then I found out that it had a filter. I took the old one out and ran it without to test and the car ran fine . So I ordered the filter and put it in. Has ran for about 500 miles with no issues so far

Worked great for my 2003 Accord V6 with auto transmission. Install is a bit time consuming but not hard at all. YouTube videos will show you the way. Be careful not to lose the spring underneath the old filter during removal. Also, next time I will opt for the kit with the replacement o-ring, gasket, and crush washer as I had to reuse those during my install. They were reusable but not everyone will be so lucky.

Perfect fit, my old one was pretty dirty. It's supposed to be a never change filter but I think it needs to be changed more often. It had 260,000 miles on it.

Fits my Acura TL 05 , on the car finder to see if this product fits the TL , it mentions it doesn’t fit but it does . It’s a direct fit . Exact OEM transmission filter replacement from Honda .

fits in my 06 Acura TL. helps to have a paper towel around where you are working to catch dropped small bolt or fuel line washer.

Exactly as described. Fits Honda 5 speed BAYA/MAYA transmissions with "non-replaceable" filter (located under the airbox and easily replaced with simple hand tools. A ratcheting 10mm wrench will save your sanity).
