The broom was smaller than expected maybe 7 inches wide at the bristle tips. The dust pan can be used with a full size broom head. This is not a problem because I'm in a wheelchair it actually fits perfect height and it's for sweeping a small area. I love this product. The pan is pretty tough like you'd find in a restaurant lobby and the broombis quite sturdy. They fit inside eachother and clip together for compact storage. I put a picture of the broom and dust pan next to a 5 gallon bucket for more accurate size reference. I imagine this lasting years with the light duty it will be put through or I would certainly purchase another one.

Very handy to use but I don't know how I missed that the dust pan is locked in the down position and takes up so much space. Doesn't fall down when not in use. I looked at several and read reviews. Guess I missed that. It does seem sturdy enough for industrial use and build to last.

Used for household uses made very well. Sturdy and love handle. Hangs on wall very well to stay out of the way. More than worth the price

I thought this was fine, but not spectacular, until my toddler became obsessed with brooms. I bought him a toddler broom, which lasted a couple of weeks, then he moved on to this one. Months later, having been in the tub, the cat's water dish and having been walked on, it still works to sweep up cat litter. I am thoroughly impressed with this!

I love the picker upper!! It's great quality!! But the broom is soo small!!! I'm 4"11 and I can't use it because of how small it is. My 2 year old son can use it better then me.

it was bought as a gift and the dustpan was warped right in the middle where dust went under it instead of in it. It was an embarrassment to me and the inside paperwork said it was not If returnable. I phoned Amazon and the woman I spoke with told me she was taking it off my bill and for me to just keep it and throw it out rather than return it. I hope she fixed my bill. When a company that made the product says it is not returnable, they apparently know it is not a good product.

Cheap, cheap, cheap construction and materials. Disappointing, considering the price. It's not much better than a "dollar special" I could purchase locally. The material is recycled black plastic, the dustpan and broom handles are hollow and roughly formed, the dustpan is more black recycled plastic that has a static attraction to dust so the contents will never get into the trash unless I wash the dustpan after use. I can use this purchase, but I would not order again, nor would I recommend it to anyone else to purchase. The reason I purchased Genuine Joe was because of my positive experience with an older Genuine Joe broom/dustpan set, purchased years ago. That set is so much better constructed, in comparison to this one.
