We kept getting a P0441 code on our 2015 Kia Soul and the dealer replaced the charcoal cannister. This lasted about a year and then the code started coming back again. The original gas cap never clicked when it got tight, and so I thought I would try replacing it. I bought this original OEM part and it was easy to replace it on our car. The new one does click when tightened and the gasket is slightly different than the original so I am more confident that it has a good seal now. The code has not come back again after being installed about 5 weeks.

Working great. I highly recommend OEM. I had bought a no name brand cap a few months before and the check engine light came back on after about a month. This OEM cap is working great and it’s been a few months.

Works for 2011 Kia Soul. Put it on, get one click, drive a few cycles, engine light went away. Been good for the past 6 months.

The product works fine. But unlike the original on vehicle, this one does not include the wording (reminding your new teenage driver to "turn only one click" ). I called Kia parts dept and they confirmed that if I had bought direct from Kia, it would have looked the same, they also didn't know why the warning was left off of the OEM replacement part. So, part works fine, just wish msg was on it (the website pictures had included both the replacement as received, but also one pix of an original with "one click" msg, hence the confusion, recommend they explain this in product description).

I bought this for my Sportage because my check engine light came on. This fixed the problem. Don't buy the cheap cap on Amazon for under $10. Pay more and get this one, better quality. The cheap one lasted 18 months and the black rubber seals had hairline cracks. This one is better quality and lasts multiple years.

After changing all the spark plugs and coils after a while the engine light went away for a short while until the engine light came back on again. Until I bought this gas cap for my 2018 Kia Optima the problem went away and my car is running great and no more engine light on my dash board.This is a great product.

Got this cap because I had a check engine light and it told me the gas cap *could* be the problem. Replaced it with this one and sure enough, the code cleared. (It didn't clear instantly, but 2 days later when I got in my car again, it did).
