The color match was perfect and there was ample length to re-lace a pair of shoes. But, the 1/8" size is thicker than the original and it was a tight fit going through the eyelets. The needle grips the lacing well, and worked okay with the exception of it being TOO SHORT for the back of the shoe. Going around the back of the heel the eyelets are 3 1/2" apart, and the needle is only 2", so it was a considerable amount of pushing and twisting to get the needle through. After about 20 minutes I was finally able to grab the tip with a pair of needle nose pliers to finish pulling it through.

Would not recommend for Sperrys. Overall, the quality is good, but they are too stiff and thick for Sperrys

These worked perfect for replacing the laces on my Sperrys ! The threading needle that comes with it is a must have. It came with enough material to replace two pairs of shoes !

The tool easily holds the lace and goes into the hole of the boat shoe easily. But it is too short to come out the other end - nto enough of it to be able to use a tool to pull it through the other side..
