OEM part, fists my 2016 Prius 4 Touring. I had to replace my filter housing after somebody over tightened in an oil change. Really good price, I called all Toyota dealers that I have around, (6 in total) they all above $50.

but this was a great replacement for the 8 year old old one. Apparently this cap get tired after heating and cooling for years and permanently expands and becomes very difficult to remove. My oil changer refused to force it, for fear of breaking it on a Sunday. After I received this item I went back and they installed it with no problems. No complaints on subsequent oil changes.

It's OEM and better priced than Aftermarket. I prefer to use original parts for things like this. Can't argue with quality and proper fit. I just wish it was metal instead of plastic. Original cracked because of debris on the road.

Being plastic and all, it is quite difficult to keep it for long. After anout 5 years, i'd say it would be good to replace with a newer one. Depending on how rough you are with opening the filter because its still plastic at the end of the day.

Bought this Genuine Toyota 15620-37010 Oil Filter Cap Assembly to replace the old & stucked oil cap. Fitted very well and cost much less than the dealer's price.

Part arrived in two days, great price, no shipping, no tax, genuine Toyota part... it doesn't get any better than that. My dealer wanted $50, I said no thanks. I bought this because my old one was missing the metal cylindrical center piece, somehow it had broken off during an oil change. Fortunately the spring base was still intact. My old one was a Dorman made in China. This one is the real deal, looks much better made, I expect it will last forever unless abused.

I bought a spare filter cap because I had to use an impact wrench to loosen the current filter cap that’s on the car after someone at the dealer over torqued the cap during an oil change. This design is the worst given that it is made of plastic and you need a special tool to take it off, and you don’t necessarily save money compared to a spin-on oil filter as replacing the cartridge cost about the same price. I guess for recycling purposes it’s a little greener but not by much since your dealing with oil waste. But regardless, it is a genuine Toyota product.
