I previously had an enameled cast iron Dutch oven, which was great but, over the years, eventually got too heavy for me. I wanted a large, but lightweight replacement. I shopped around and finally settled on this, and I couldn’t be happier. Its quality is great, it cooks to perfection, and it’s so easy to clean. I totally recommend this product.

I was surprised by how light the pan was. Yet it worked very well braising meats. I love the color, it’s easy to clean and it can go straight from stove to table. I have used this frequently for braising iso my cast iron pot, because I find it easier to handle. I have yet to use it in the oven, but I am Very satisfied. And it’s pretty too.

This pot is wonderful. It looks just like the $300.00 pot; but it only costs a fraction of the price! It also weighs of fraction on its weight. It performs beautifully. I only use wooden utensils when I am cooking in the pot. It is a beautiful addition to my kitchen.

I love everything about this pan since I got it for Christmas I have not stopped using it. I use it every day love love love much better than the traditional cast-iron.

We have used the pot for several months and even bought a similar one as a Christmas gift for a friend. We noticed while washing after the last use that the paint was chipping and peeling on the edge of the lid. We understood it was not cast iron but expected a better, more durable finish. Would not buy again.

I am very pleased with this Braiser. I was especially trying to get something that would fit on a normal electric range. The cooking base is bigger that the electric element but still manageable. For some people like myself, that do not know Braiser, it is like a low Dutch Oven but wider. I will update the review as I cook more meals with the Braiser (frying pan without the awkward long handle sticking out!).Update: Have been cooking with the Braiser and is great, everything that I had hoped for. One tiny point: The handles are a bit small but if you are careful when handling with over mitts, I don't think it will be a problem. Handle problem solved: My wife has two silicone handles thick and adds to the grip of the pan. They slide on and off as needed.
