I got these pants for my son and they are too small. He was able to wear them for the season but they were tight on him. Having the padding is nice, they gave great protection. They were long, a little long for my son, he is 5'9. They held up well throughout the season. If they weren't too small, he would probably get a second season out of them. Comfort was okay but that was influence by the size as well. We ordered a medium and received a small. I don't think this is the sellers problem but it does effect the fit and comfort. He would be happy to try a medium and give an updated review if the mistake is corrected.

I ordered these for trying out as I play as a goalkeeper in weekend soccer matches. The fabric of the pants is stretchy, comparable to wearing two leggings on top of each other. However, it doesn't hinder my mobility, so it's not a problem for me. I just think I wouldn't prefer them in the summer season. The protective material on the hip area is sufficiently sized and thick enough. If it took up more space, it could reduce my flexibility and add unnecessary weight to the pants. The paddings on the inside of the legs are great because that's an area where I often get roughed up with the ball.

Decent pads for your hips. Otherwise, it’s a standard compression pant. Nothing fantastic; does the job

I got these for my son, who plays goalie for his soccer team. He wanted something that would help alleviate the pain from launching himself after the ball and falling to the ground. He said they help a little bit, but they make him ridiculously hot and sweaty. They don't breathe and are uncomfortable. He said he'd rather just not wear them and take the hits.

I have owned several G-Form protective pieces, and they have all been good quality. These impact pants are no exception. They are simple and effective. I have found that most of G-Form's form fitting gear runs a tad small, so if in doubt, sizing up is not a bad idea. The fabric is moisture wicking and breathable which is a must. The hip pads really help disperse impact force to minimize the blow. I really appreciate the padding on the inner thighs giving extra protection from hits. Overall, I've been very happy with the performance of these impact pants.
