I used to hate the trimming process because it would take a long time for me to center anything. This makes it so much easier and I wish I would have purchased one of these sooner. I will say that if you tighten the grips too much, they will dent your work...but I chalked it up to user error.

This is a great tool for trimming pieces with ease. It centers your piece as well and trimming is a pleasure and so much faster.

One of the items on my list of could use but not necessary. I waited so long to purchase that they came out with this new style. It's fantastic. Trimmings go in the splash pan compared to original. Setup is super easy and fast. When trimming 50 or so items in a row it makes quick work. No more lugs! Great way to save time!

I have had the regular size Giffen grip for many years and have loved it and will continue to use it, but this little one is so handy for so many things, especially little plates, mugs, & little bowls.Actually, I think everybody should have both sizes in their studio.
