This tiny wheel is soooo much fun! Extremely quiet. Spins both directions. Has a variable speed nob.It actually spins st fast! The 1st piece of clay I tried to center, I turned the wheel all the way up as fast as it would go. I could easily put pressure on the wheel without stopping it and got the clay centered. Then I started opening it up and that's when most of the clay flew off! I centered what was left and made the little vase in the photos.Totally worth it and looking forward to getting these fired and glazed.

With the proper tools, I can successfully make a mini pot. However, you can use almost no pressure from your hands, or else the wheel will stop. I have to make an even clay blob with my hands first, put it on the wheel, and then use trimming techniques only to shape the pot so the wheel doesn't stop. Makes it difficult to center the clay. Cannot make pots with your hands. If the motor were stronger, this would be great. Also, mine says "No" instead of "On," which is kind of funny. That being said, this wheel has lasted me a couple years with occasional use. I like the different size wheel heads and tools it comes with.

The compact little wheel is not as expected. It bogs down to a stop with any pressure at all! Impossible to do even the tiniest of pots! I guess that’s what I get for paying for a cheap mini wheel.

I received mine today and it doesn't even turn on. The instructions are just nonsense words strung together. Amazon is full of scammy, low quality products and this is one of them.

I use this wheel for polishing resin dice. For this, it’s really great - sensitive variable speed with good rotation, can rotate either direction, and comes with 3 different wheel heads (I use the middle one for regular dice). However, I was hoping to also use it for clay. I can’t put enough pressure down to center the clay without stopping the rotation; any downward pressure with my fingers slows it down enough to be unusable. I use a groggy low fire clay for raku; I don’t know if a thin porcelain clay would have the same experience.

Inutilisable ! La rapidité doit être mis au max, mais le souci, est que dès que l'on effectue une pression, la machine s'arrête, donc sans pression, l'on ne peut rien faire, de plus avec la vitesse max , la machine bouge toute seul, elle saute, mais si l'on ne met pas la vitesse au max, l'on ne peut rien faire non plus, donc appareil complètement inutile, en tout cas impossible de faire de la poterie comme il est indiqué dans l'annonce, c'est une camelote ce produit, je regrette de me l'avoir fait en cadeau de noël, je ne peux rien en faire, ni mes enfants, à jeter à la poubelle !! Il ne sert à rien de vendre ce genre de produire ou on ne peut absolument rien en faire !! J'appel ça du vol !!
