Great product!... Just one thing though, it was missing a piece (torpedo piece). Total bummer. Buyer beware. Collector worthy?... No. Play worthy?... Yes.

One would think that any boat created for children would float but I have found over time that is not the case--even some tub toys have had less than stellar results. The Retaliation Cobra Fang Boat launched at a lake on a choppy windy day but GI Joe team members fit nicely in the boat and were able to maneuver the lake with ease--above water! There are some cool detachable parts that are a little less than cool to try to put back on when you want to but they stay put if you don't fuss with them too much and given the rugged testing ground we put this toy through I would say it is a great compliment to your GI Joe toys. Of course the best thing is that my six year old loves it!

The shroud is poorly designed, the mounting grooves do not allow for sturdy attachment, so they lost a star, the action figure is NOT a real GI Joe, it does not have the metal link hips or articulated knees or arms, my son will break it soon so they lost a star.

The boat itself has a much improved color scheme and some updates with the gun. It was always a solid mold and this one holds up very well. The figure though is infuriating; they should not call this thing a GI Joe figure at all. It has the limited poseabilty and plastic of original Star Wars figures. He doesn't even fit perfectly in the seat as you would expect from a simple design made for the boat. I just hope kids that get these first don't think that this is what a GI Joe figure is or they've lost a generation of possible fans.

I bought this to replace the green version I had when I was 8 years old. I'm 40 now and after playing with the old one for so many years it broke. This new one is far superior since it comes in gray and has a spring propelled rocket launcher that I can shoot at various GI JOE scenarios I create. Overall, the construction is very durable and should last me another 40 years! Thanks GI JOE; knowing is half the battle !

This Cobra attack boat is cool. I thought it was worth buying at a very good price. It don't float in water but still can play with it in water.
