I'm borderline 36" but 38" is too big, these fit perfect out of the dryer, but stretch too large after a few hours. I'd order a size smaller than needed for my next pair. Comfy and look nice.

I purchased these shorts originally a size larger than normal as they are foreign brand. The waist was nice but very bulky in the crotch area. I returned and ordered one size smaller. They were perfect before the wash! Only downside of these is since the material is super stretchy, they do shrink a little in the wash. The look is perfect and overall the shorts are comfortable!

I got these shorts brand new. Wore them to work (which involves standing and walking) every day for 2 months. I like the style and fit, I don’t like the scarce belt loops. When I squat down, the middle loop is holding on, while the waistband sinks down. To make it worse, the inner thighs ripped. Mine rub together so I expected that after a few years, not months. I’d say they are a decent price, but if your thighs rub, make sure you get something with strong fabrics.
