I needed a cable to connect a Sony Camcorder to a 2007 laptop so that I could digitize mini DV tapes. This does exactly that. Well worth the money.

The cable ends were not comparable with a Panasonic Camcorder and Sony DVD maker.

Using older Video HI8mm Recorders for what ever reason Windows 7 and 10 strike again and do not allow USB2 connections. Fortunately Sony provides the EEE outlet. Now I just wonder why when transferring the 10 year old video it uses 6.9GB's? What da??? Like why? 10 years ago GB's didn't even exist. My Windows 98 , 2000 and even Vista had no problems! Micro Soft bowels' has done it again!Micro Soft dumps new Operating Systems without removing old crap that doesn't provide a thing, but just loads it up anyway. I still have my old E Machine with Windows 98 and may just revert back to it to make video's as I can't find DVD disc with 12GB's available.
