Only assembly required was a few bolts which were provided very easy! Functionality is wonderful, the price is high. We waited until it went on sale, but it is definitely well-made & built to last. Well worth the price! I use a 3/4 inch hose 100 foot long - Rolls up w/ease, like a dream, no kinks & you need to make sure the hose stays unkinked when you 1st start rolling but we have not had any issues w/hose kinking, like some of the other comments made?This cart is very sturdy, w/strong wheels that move over rocks, dirt, sand, etc. We have the irrigation well hookedup & can roll it around anywhere on my acre property! The potted plants love it 😠have not had one rust sign yet, size is as expected - fits perfectly- you can also purchase the hose reel by itself - no cart if you want to hang it on a wall or place it into a concrete structure on the ground & all the parts are well made, Comes pre-oiled, with everything you need -made in America 🇺🇸 that’s the only reason it is expensive, but its well worth it as we have been through 3 separate plastic hose hanging reels.Nice strong metal - heavy. Great quality!

The hose roller cart is great however the instructions are horrible.

I finally caved and made myself buy this hose reel after dealing with a crappy plastic one for years that I purchased at one of the big box stores. This hose reel is absolutely amazing and is a night and day difference between this and anything I’ve used in the past. i’m not sure about the reviews that people left saying that it was difficult to put together, it took me about 20 minutes and that included rolling the hose onto it. Everything went together smoothly and works perfectly, now I just need it to be spring so I can use it more!

The cart is very sturdy. It only accommodates 5/8 inch hose. 3/4 inch hose is not recommended. I purchased as a combo with the 5/8 inch stainless steel hose and makes a very nice set.

The instructions are some of the worst I’ve seen. There aren’t enough clear images, the hardware comes pre assembled in the wrong configurations, the hardware descriptions require you to have a tool to measure the threads. At the end of assembling this I was left with multiple pieces of hardware and was so angry I had to take a break.I haven’t gotten to use the product yet so I can’t really comment on overall usability but based on the assembly alone I highly recommend you purchase something else.

Materials - low grade stainless, so i am not sure what corrosion protection this offers compared to painted steel or aluminum (magnets stick). The tool basket is definately chrome plated carbon steel and I expect it will rust quickly. Assembly holes are oversized. Cotter pins for wheels were so small they would not stay in - I replaced these with standard farm clip pins. I was aware of this issue from other reviews prior to purchase, but since I have a farm, pins are not a problem. It is amazing that it remains an issue though.Works well with their hose. I would not want to try a standard home depot garden hose on this reel as it would be too heavy. Their hose has lightweight aluminum ends which will hold up fine for our use - manual spray nozzle, always attached.

Beefy stainless steel frame, missing screws for assembly, directions were really not very good.
