Purchased to add for pups automatic bowl while I'm outside and their play time. My indoor dogs are a little uppity about their water bowl lately. I had one of the tanks that I had to lift. Decided I needed an attachment to make it easier to use multiple devices. Glad I purchased it. It's sturdy, 5 minute install and was affordable. I wanted the flat waterhose but I'll put that in the budget for next month. I am pleased and orange is my favorite color!

I have other splitters, bronze-metal style but they are somewhat harder to manipulate and make gradual manipulation. The Giraffe have a longer arm and allow for more accurate and quick adjustment. They also cinch up easily to the male end with no leaking. I can't believe a simple garden tool like this would matter but I need to string hoses together for irrigation and have fallen in love with these and in fact thrown the other style out.

The valve started leaking profusely five months after installation with very little use, and now I am forced to find a replacement. It apparently could not handle the winter freeze.Addendum - Following posting the above review of this item (with 1 star) the seller contacted me and provided a full refund. Excellent customer service!

It’s very convenient and easy to use. Quality is evident and hoping it lasts. The flow is good if you have one side open. A little weak with both but that’s to be expected.

I like the ease of function with the size of the levers. Was easy to make connections and seems like it’s pretty durable plastic. I have Giraffe auto hose reels and this is just as good quality as any of their other products. I love the quality of Giraffe brand. I think it’s fair for the price. Giraffe is not the cheapest but I like the reliability of their products.

I bought this brand because I recently purchased the hose and like it.Pros: seems sturdy and it’s easy to screw on to the faucet.Cons: the hose (of the same brand) leaks when screwed on. I used the channel locks to ensure the hose was on tight, and it still leaks. I expect that I can screw this on hand tight with no leaks. Disappointing for sure.Because of this, I would not recommend.

I purchased this in July 2023 and in July 2024 it started to leak severely.
