This is the perfect blend of materials making this a Lightweight & Firm feel but still a very Flexible hose. The 1st day I had to use this hose it was the day of a winter warm spell and the drive was wet with mud and decayed leaves. I thought it's going to be way to much fun to clean after I dragged it through hose Hell, but nothing stuck to it and it wasn't even that wet. The surface of this hose is highly water a dirt resistant because even as I dragged the hose across the dirt dried film on the garage floor to reel it up nothing stuck to it. Out of all the hose reviews I have read this one is the best out of them with all there different qualities rolled up into one! + they have 3 different length leader hoses in this matching color so I purchased a 6 foot length to run from the compressor to the wall reel. * Check out the Milton S-217 1/4" NPT V Style Coupler and Plug Kit - 6 Piece has a maximum pressure of 300 PSI and air flow of 74 SCFM. If you have normal fittings they are most likely 150 PSI not 300 and because the inside diameter of these V fitting are so much bigger when your using a impact gun you will really notice the difference. These 1/4 inch NPT / National Pipe Thread fittings do match the male 1/4 inch threads on this hose. * Check your existing hose coupler on your compressor incase you need a Male 1/4 inch or 3/8 ended coupler instead of the 2 females included in the set to complete your connections, this item is a cheap Add-On item if needed.

Product as described in terms of ease of use. This 50' version is installed on a ceiling-mounted, spring-loaded hose reel and it works well. Have not used it long enough to evaluate durability however it appears to be of good construction. I marked this at 4 stars because I think Amazon and the seller should advise/warn the customer on the strong out-gassing odor from the new hose. Before purchasing I had seen some of the reviews pertaining to this subject so I let the product sit outside for three days before installing; however that is not nearly enough and the odor was still very strong inside the garage for at least another week.

I’m just putting these hoses into service but they look and feel excellent. The materials look to be chafe and twist tolerant. I suspect that if you check back in twenty years I’l just be retiring them LOL

After many years my black rubber goodyear air hose sprung a leak. Great hose from a durability standpoint and the fact that it was black meant it never looked dirty. From a usability standpoint, well that was another matter. Very stiff, heavy, constantly getting hung up on stuff, and a real PITA to roll up - hot or cold. So far this hose has displayed the good qualities of the old hose and some better qualities of its own. Flexible, easy to roll up - hot or cold, and it's much lighter. It does show dirt and grease though and it is getting stained - life is too short to worry too much about that. As for long term durability, well it's too soon to testify to that. I originally ordered the 25' hybrid. On reflection, I cancelled that order about 5 minutes after I placed it and got the 50' instead. I'm glad I did, because this hose is light and flexible I can put that extra length to use without struggling with it. So far I like it and the cost for the 50' seems a good value.

Just out in service today. Put stainless fittings on for wet environment. Light and flexible. Hopefully durable. I like the color so it doesn't blend in on the ground.
