This is a perfect investment for anyone looking for a MIPS helmet that isn't going to kill your budget and functions well. I wear it for riding the trails on my mountain bike. I'm still learning to improve my skills and that leads to some pretty special crashes at times so I'm always worried about safety. I don't have any worries about this helmet. I've already tested the breathability of this helmet by standing in front of a fan blowing at me and WOW. The airflow is amazing. I don't anticipate overheating while I ride anymore. It's so lightweight that I really don't notice it other than the view of the visor at the top of my peripheral vision. I'm an adult with a small head so the universal youth helmets fit me and typically better than the adult women's sizes. I used the size chart and it does measure accurate for size. If I had to find a complaint with the helmet it would be that the matte purple color is almost more blue than purple. If it was the same purple as the lining pads and the buckles, I would have been on cloud nine with it. Overall, I can't say that I have any regrets with my purchase. I even received a helmet that I had to return for a replacement due to a defect that occurred from the manufacturer packaging. I got 3 of these for my kids (ages 5, 8, and 10). They all love them! My kids report they are very comfortable, and I love how easy they are to adjust. The fit is just right, so they don't complain about wearing them. I love the MIPS feature, and the removable visor is great. The price is a bit high, but I'm hoping these will last for years!

We got this Giro Tremor MIPS helmet for our two and a half year old to use as she is learning to ride a bike. It's an expensive helmet, but it felt like the better option overall when compared to all the other helmets for kids.The helmet is lightweight, so it's easy for my child to wear. Many other helmets for children seem far too heavy and some parents have found this to cause the child to not want to wear it.It's a MIPS helmet, so if she ends up taking a bad spill, this may help reduce concussion.The helmet is well ventilated, and also has a removable sun visor.The roc loc adjustment dial at the rear of the helmet really helps get a proper fit and it's easy to use.One minor downside is the adjustability on the chin strap. It does adjust, but not as tightly as I would have wanted for my child. She will grow into the helmet as time goes by, and I am hoping the helmet lasts her a few good years.Overall it's a good helmet, and even though it is pricey, it's designed to protect her head and her brain, so it's an item you really don't want to skimp on.

Although it’s seems to be a little bit big with a few inches it’s a good looking helmet, looks strong and am hoping she will use for a few years ahead
