I purchased these identical hangers from Another Amazon Distributor a couple years ago. I needed more and that Distributor didn't "distribute them" anymore. Having dealt with Glarks before, I had no problem ordering these anchors from them.In short: these (type of) anchors are THE BEST for hanging "light" (i.e., under 20 lbs?) items on drywall panels. The anchors install fairly easily with a hammer, NO "pre-drilling, etc." is required, and the provided screws INSTANTLY and SECURELY go ** STRAIGHT ** into the anchor until seated. They can be installed "horizontally" or "vertically" into the drywall and once the screw is installed, they are EXTREMELY SECURE AND STABLE. Plus, you cannot "over-torque" the screw - once it "bottoms out", it won't go in the anchor any farther AND, since the anchor is made from STEEL, it won't "strip out" or break (unless, of course, you use a PNEUMATIC "IMPACT" DRIVER on the screw! ;) ).Unlike "screw-in" type anchors, they WILL NOT "insert further" into the drywall nor will they "back out" of the dry wall when the screw is removed. If you want to REMOVE the anchor, remove the screw until the "tip" threads are still engaged in the anchor, then carefully PULL the "assembly" from the wall. Unlike "screw-type" anchors, all you'll see is a 1/2"x1/16" "slit" where the anchor was. Slather a "pitifully small" amount of spackle over the "slit", let it dry, sand it down, and you'll never know there was an anchor there. If you DON'T want to remove it, just remove the screw, spackle over the anchor's head, then sand it flat when dry.As an "Extra Added Bonus", removed anchors can likely be REUSED ELSEWHERE (i.e., OOPS! I put it in the wrong place!). Just don't reinstall it within a 1-1/2" "radius" of where it was removed to ensure holding strength!Summary: if you need to Securely Hang "Non-Heavy" Things (i.e., small mirrors, paintings, small shelves, cordless tool holders) on drywall, and you don't want (unsightly?) "round holes" in the drywall from Conventional Anchors, then these are for you!

These are much easier to use than the plastic anchors. After using to put up a big whiteboard, I'm a fan!

They seem to better than your standard plastic round ones. Less messy as well. Thin and easy to use great to hang things with.

Holy smoke, are these anchors GREAT! I have used all kinds of anchors but there has always been some drawback. The size of the holes they make, their ability to remain strong, cost. These seem to be just about perfect! Instead of big holes, they make flat slots. They spread out inside the wall to hold firm. And they cost very, very little compared to other anchors. I will DEFINTELY be buying more!

I needed to re-hang some curtains since the rod mounts were pulling off the wall. Drilling holes and knocking in plastic anchors isn't that hard, but I saw these "Glarks Drywall Self-Drilling Anchors..." and thought to myself, "Never seen these before. They look cool." and decided to try them. I knocked six of them in for my mounts with no problem, including one through a hole that was gouged out from an attempt with a self tapping plastic anchor (too long for my needs - hit the house outer wall and stuck out about a 1/4 inch). I really like these. I figure also if I hit a stud, since these are metal, no worries it'll go into it without much effort. I've got 94 left and looking for something else to hang...

Not as heavy duty as I was expecting, many damaged while trying to insert into wall and they're easily stripped when turning in the screw. My drywall is old and hard I guess, had to predril a small 1/4" hole so they'd tap in without getting damaged.

These fixings are excellent. I prefer to make an initial hole with a bradawl and then hammer them in Gives a really solid fixing.

These are the best plasterboard fixings ever invented, easy to use, strong, and if removed leave hardly any residual damage. Cannot rate them high enough.
