These wall hangers are very easy to use and do not require you to anchor to a stud. The anchors are neat, and provide a clean finish not to mention they are sturdy. I was able to hand an antique wall clock on the screw and it fit perfectly and is very sturdy. Don't waste your money on other options like I did.

Went into the wall very easy. Holding up a heavy cuckoo clock.

Bent while trying to hammer into plaster. Had to use a flat head screw driver to make a pilot hole after bending 3 of them.
