It is a basic glass-cutting tool. I tried it and broke the glass because I was not careful enough. You have to create a line by going back and forth over it until you have removed enough material. Then you use the other tool to break it. In my case the glass broke because of user error. So I highly recommend watching a youtube video on how to use the tool before attempting to use it.

It ruined my 60â€x30†glass mirror I was trying to trim the edges.

Looks like someone tried to reinvent the wheel here. Twin handles allows for more even force and an excellent grip which I like. But it’s big…bulky to say the least, not a fan of that. Performance depends on the user. First attempt to cut glass with it didn’t go as planed, didn’t crack right, jagged edge. Now I’m thinking I’m the reason behind that as I was thinking I might be pressing to hard while scoring the glass. Second attempt I used more pressure and scored twice, resulting in good results. The built in breaker is handy to incorporate. As for tile I haven’t tested it but I’m sure it will work great, atleast as good as the results with glass.

I have never been good at cutting glass...... until now. This tool has definitely improved my skill level. It also makes cutting off thin strips of glass a lot easier. Wish I had this tool years ago. Would have saved me a lot of money reusing old glass for repairs.

The Glass Tile Cutter with 3 Tungsten Steel Blades and Breaking Pliers has the potential to be a useful addition to your DIY toolkit, but it comes with a significant caveat: the lack of instructions. This oversight can make the tool challenging to use, especially for those unfamiliar with similar equipment. If you’re comfortable with a bit of trial and error or have experience in tile and glass cutting, it might work well for you. However, if you're a beginner, be prepared for a learning curve and the possibility of less-than-perfect cuts until you get the hang of it.

I wouldn't want to use this if I was doing a big tile project but for a hobbiest or someone that is just installing a few tiles, this is perfect. It works well and is well made.I'm pleased with the overall performance of this and would recommend it to anyone that is looking for a manual cutter.
