Notice:

  1. Do not use this dent removal kit under the following conditions:
  2. Cracks have been appeared on the body paint;
  3. The body paints is not the original paint, peeled off or damaged;
  4. These dent puller tools are mainly used for repairing various dents on the metal surface, cannot use for the plastic surface.

Tips on how to operate the dent puller

  1. The spacer should be attached to the bottom of the depression, not to the wall of the depression, otherwise it will be easy to be unglued. The puller tab is a plastic spacer, which has no suction.;
  2. The spacer can not tilt pull, otherwise it will be easily unglued.
  3. If the dent is large, do not stick the spacer directly in the middle of the dent, but from the concave edge to the middle of the operation.

Wow! I read the reviews and was a little concerned about the quality. The dent puller however worked great for me. The tool is actually a much better quality than I expected and the glue worked great and came off fine. I didn’t even need alcohol, just picked at it with my fingers and it came off fine with no paint damage.For the actual dent removal I found yellow glue sticks worked best. I glued them to the plastic end, then placed the plastic part over the dent. Waited about 3 min then gently squeezed the handle til it popped. Worked awesome.

I have a folded in rocker panel in the center of my car that has broken my heart. I started researching and practicing PDR to fix it.So far i've been doing quite well and it's almost completely repaired with this glue. It's the only glue that has the strength to create a strong pull to get the metal back to it's original shape.It comes at a price as it's cheap but not super cheap. Thankfully each stick is very long! Though I had to purchase a really good glue gun to properly use this stuff. But after doing so, performance has been VERY GOOD.Don't use a cheap crappy glue gun. It'll make doing PDR much easily with a quality Glue gun.I've used about 2 sticks so far and it has almost fixed the bad damage so 10 sticks should definitely be more then able to fix it.Highly recommend this stuff. Make sure you follow the requirements and exceed them for best performance! I use a 300watt glue gun that is industrial grade. Gives me more time to apply as this stuff likes to harden FAST!So far Alcohol 91% has done a great job at mostly cleaning this stuff up. Sometimes it can be a fight and this stuff is strong enough to remove paint so be careful.

Was able to mostly fix a small door ding I got in my passenger door with this. The glue definitely doesn’t stick very well, but that’s potentially due to me living in a pretty hot and humid climate. I pressed an ice pack on the dent for about a minute and then glued the plastic piece onto it. I then pressed the ice pack back over the plastic piece and surrounding area for another minute or two to make sure the glue was good and solid before pulling it out. The majority of the dent is gone, with an ever so slight dent still there. I might try this again once the weather cools off a bit. Definitely worth a shot at least. Maybe not quite worth $40, but still cheaper than a shop.

Instructions are generic and not for a specific item. They don’t tell you what the difference is between the black sticks and the yellow ones so I started with the black ones because they seemed like a stronger material. It was definitely strong. Spraying alcohol on it does nothing and the scraper is too flimsy to make a difference. Reheating the material just makes it smear. I assume it’s oil or petroleum based because once it finally came off it took the clear coat with it. The yellow stick was actually stronger and hardened to the point where I couldn’t get the attachment head off of the truck. That material had to be removed with a heat gun as well and it smeared substantially worse. Maybe it’s not meant for 14 year old clear coat but I would save your money and get suction cups or a regular glue gun. Now I have the same dents and missing paint.

It's not as effective or easy as I had hoped-- but then again, body shops exist for a reason. In the end, the spot I fixed is still visible, but not nearly as indented as before.I initially struggled with the glue popping off the car or the attachment piece popping off of the glue. The only way I could get a strong enough bond was to use enough to engulf the head of the attachment piece. The hot glue gun couldn't pump the glue fast enough so I had the most success with a heat gun. I also gave the glue longer time to set. With my final technique, it took me 3 or 4 applications to work the dent out. The mechanics of the kit work and make sense— the struggle is getting the glue to holdRemoving the glue is a pain and requires a mix of heat, scraping, alcohol and wet sanding. I'm repainting this panel, so no big deal to use sandpaper— but be prepared to spend a lot of time scraping on a nice paint job.

First off, I’m no professional. I decided to do the work myself as I was quoted an outrageous amount for roughly 30 dents. Heck, I don’t even see 30, so out of the 9 highly visual ones. I decided I would do the work. Temp-do not do this directly in the sun (90*+), the glue will not cure/harden. I was able to work in the garage (while 97* outside) or under trees in the morning. After using the clear glue sticks for awhile, I decided to use the black sticks on both the blue and black pads. While the black glue works better with the black pads, I occasionally used it on the blue pads to do the process faster. Some dents only took one pull of the yellow tool, while others took 4-5 pulls. This takes patience, my wife helped with spraying alcohol on the glue and scraping after I pulled the yellow tool. Which also helped a bunch. I took a moment to watch a few videos on YouTube prior to doing the work.

I am pleasantly surprised that this actually works. Very simple and effective. I was not able to achieve perfect results, but I was able to remove 80% of a large dent that was at the roof/side junction on my wife's Kia Soul. The dent is in a really bad spot and was really ugly, but now, while still noticeable, it's a vastly improved. The glue really sticks and it did remove the clearcoat in a couple of spots, but that was easily repaired. Take your time and follow the simple directions and this kit really works. To get the glue off of the car I used a hair dryer to soften, then used the included scraper, and then a citrus cleaner to remove all residue.
