  • Yes, but the maximum bandwidth is PCIE 4.0X4 = 8GB/s. If the CPU or motherboard PCIE slot does not support PCIE 4.0, the bandwidth will be reduced to PCIE 3.0/2.0 X4. Note: Intel CPUs below 11th gen don't support PCIE 4.0.

The cable worked fine but as a final setup the connector was too large to use in my application.
