The Double Tie-in Hitch pulley efficiently advances friction hitches while providing multiple connections to complete advanced climbing systems. Combined with 8mm VT Prusik with 100% Technora sheath, the kit constructs a core hardware group for SRT/DDRT rope climbing, and work positioning lanyard adjuster.
【Double Tie-in Hitch Pulley】features asymmetrical double attachment holes, designed for a neat operating spot and to reduce the use of connectors, especially when tending slack in SRT and DDRT climbing systems.
Both CE and UIAA certified, rated at 32kN high breaking strength, the pulley can be installed to advance friction hitches in most rope climbing systems or working-positioning lanyards, and also work as a functional redirect pulley in rigging or most mechanical advantage systems while keeping a lightweight and compact profile. It's universally compatible with ropes up to 13mm in diameter.
【Twist Lock Oval Carabiner】With the twist auto-locking gate, the carabiner is speedy to open and clip in. Keylock gate closing embeds a notch-free T-shape nose that eliminates the risks of ropes, slings, or bolts being snagged or getting caught in clipping and unclipping. The gate sleeve is designed to have a rougher surface by adding grooves to increase friction, which facilitates carabiner manipulation, especially for operation with gloves. CE and UIAA certified, 24kN breaking strength.
The oval shape can center and align the loading of the pulley with the other pieces of gear in the same system. It allows the optimal balance loading of the pulley systems. The fluid interior circle smooths the way for the rotation of the carabiner. Carabiner rotation is less susceptible to being caught, especially when clipped into pieces of gears that have wide clip-in points, like pulleys, rope clamps, and descenders.

I am not a climber so this review is not about climbing. I do have a winch on my ATV and a 3500lb winch that I might need to use mechanical advantage when winching. That is why I got this. This pulley is rated for 32kN or 7193 pounds of force which is far more than my winch will pull. What I like is the pulley slides apart from the top so you can easily put your rope through it. I realize a lot of the design is for climbing but who says you canâ€™t use it for something else. I this is perfect size and strength to keep on the ATV for emergencies. I recommend it.

Climbing is not a situation where you want to save a little money to get by, so I am pretty hard on a product in this category. That said, I can't see anything not to like about the hitch pulley. The side guards are well-machined and of very substantial thickness and strength, The pulley rotates smoothly with out any wobble or catching. The side gap of the pull is small enough that no climbing rope is going to get pinched by the pulley, well if you are smart enough not to use parachute cord as a climbing rope. I won't be worrying about the strength and safety of this device when I'm hanging.
