I replaced my u-joints on my 2016 Chevy Suburban LTZ today and figured I would replace the drive shaft boot as well... Since I have just under 180k on the truck when I take stuff off like this I just replace it. Glad I did because the old one was pretty nasty from the previous owners driving the truck up and down dirt roads all the time. The fit was perfect, and the clamps fit very good too. I was surprised that one of the older clips that attaches to the transfer case was missing on my truck, so happy that this kit came with 2. You need a tool to clamp the clamps down, Amazon sells them. Leslie has a couple but look for the knock off Toyota tools as they can really tighten these clamps down really good... the one I'm thinking of has a 12mm bolt on it that you turn with a wrench to really clamp these things down to spec.

Good luck finding this at your local parts store. Fits my front driveshaft slip yoke for an 04 GMC shift. 1500 coming out of the transfer case to the shaft.

This was the correct boot and clamp for my 2003 Chevy Express AWD van. If you have to remove the boot you should replace with a genuine GM part for this application. The old GM clamp lasted over 100,000 miles and was still going strong. I had to pull the transfer case so I had to cut the old one off and I figured I might as well replace it with the same high quality one. Much better then a knock off brand. The old boot was also in perfect shape. I only replaced it because I got a new one with this kit.

Fit perfect does require tool to put on. Shipping took forever but was only place I could find this item! Worked great for button shift Chevy 1500 front drive line. Np246
