Works as intended. FYI - this did NOT correct my problem, but it was NOT the fault of this part. If you are placing this bushing, it is likely that the area on your rack & pinion has rusted/worn to the point where this bushing replacement is not going to fix your problem. There is a painted surface on the rack, and this rusts, and flakes off. This is where the play comes in, as you really cannot replace that thickness of metal you lost, and there still will be some play.

Fit my 08 silverado perfectly and it has the same exact part number as the factory bushing.Fixed the noisy rack and pinion.

purchased Sep 30, 2019, installed a month later, as of feb 25, 2023 its already worn out. compared to the original that lasted 9 years before it broke
