Used this gasket while replacing the transmission oil filter on my 2013 suburban. Nice quality worked great. To remove the pan you must loosen the exhaust system mounting bolts. Spray with pb blast and us a long extension with a impact wrench worked well. You don’t have to remove the bolts. Then with a long pry bar you can push down on the exhaust just a bit to remove the pan. Watch a YouTube video beforehand.

This gasket can be a little tricky to install in a tight spot. Position gasket on to pan, tie some thread through 4 corners of the pan, 2 in the center to hold gasket secure, align pan to install on transmission, install all bolts finger tight, clip threads and pull thread out and tighten bolts to spec. Do not use any sealant or silicone. Add fluid , check for leaks.

Fit perfect. Glad I changed it when I did the fluid change because it's a real bear getting the pan off a 6L80 and I didn't want to do it twice because of leakage.

It made my leaky transmission not leak. Not much else I can expect. Much better than the cheap rubber only seal that I used before.
