It's an OK product. I guess I had expected the wood to be more finished, polished or smooth. But as the product listing shows, it's just a basic piece of wood with some grooves in it. I found that if any dough gets stuck in the grooves, it's rather hard to remove. But gets the job done.

This gnocchi board is perfect! It makes it simple to achieve the right size and shape for the gnocchi. As an Italian family, we make gnocchi frequently, and this traditional board is ideal for the process. It's small and made of wood, so I wouldn't recommend putting it in the dishwasher, but it’s easy to clean and use.

I haven’t had the opportunity to use this yet, but it looks and feels just like the ones we use at school. The only difference is that the school versions have ridges on both sides, while this one has them only on one side. Having ridges on both sides can be quite helpful if any dough or flour clogs them. What can I say? I’m still learning!
