As advertised. Seems to be pretty very good quality. The break pad on it is nice and thick. This is the second one I've bought, and it works great for my son's go-kart. Easy installation, well worth the money. Definitely will buy again when I need it. I'll update post when it wears down, so that I can let everyone know how long it lasts.

Not the best brake but gets the job done for the most part. Band brakes are just no good from the start but if you’re forced to stay with one then this should work just fine.

Just bought last week for our Manco red go kart. Came fast and fits great. Highly recommend. We don’t ride a long period of time as of now, but definitely a good 30 mins before letting it cool down.

Great product, I had an issue with the band brake falling off the drum. This item has a tab that keeps the band from falling off the drum.

I’ll tell you what I never go out of my way to complain about products or even a bad meal in a restaurant, but this was something I had to let others know.This lasted a whole 5 minutes! My son, 11 years old went down the street on his go kart doing about 25-30 mph after we installed and needed to stop.. And then SNAP went his brakes. The weld broke on the band!! I think others may have had the problem.He let off the gas and fortunately was able to maneuver out of the way from crashing…Just think of this situation as a parent. Do yourself a favor to have peace of mind, and buy another band from another manufacturer or seller.Honestly this shouldn’t even be sold, let alone an Amazons Choice Product.
