Very thin and not sturdy wire used in the making of these small safety pins. I wouldn't really call them "safety " with how easily they break and bend. I only wanted a few for decorative purposes, but I did want to use some for making doll diapers. These will not work for that,as they bend going through a few layers of material. They bent going through fleece . They bent going through cotton with two layers. Not happy with these. The wire used is half the thickness of the old tiny gold safety pins I used to have in my sewing box.

Love these pins as I needed to pin a ton of holes in my down comforter created by my cats. Feathers were coming out everywhere and this fixes temporarily until I can sew with needle and thread (which I highly doubt I'll end up doing).
