Small blemish on the cap finish but works ok with SAE 30 oil. Paint is textured black which I think is better than what was pictured.

The oil cans I received are black which makes them almost impossible to find in a welding shop environment. I'm not sending them back because I needed them before I ordered them. It took too long to get them and I feel like they were over priced for oil cans, especially when I ordered a copper color not black. The oil cans do work well.

Bubbled paint running down the side of the lid just seems like poor quality control and completely avoidable.. I could see how it could be missed during manufacturing, but seems how it doesn't come in manufacture packaging I'm not sure how the person shipping it does not see it and wonder?

I use this to bleed brakes. It holds just enough fluid and does not tip over. It leaked at the base of the flex spout so I put fuel tank sealant around that area and now it does not leak anymore. We use this daily and it is a good fluid can.

Pun intended. I liked my straight-spout Goldenrod well enough to buy this one. The other unit works well on the common ball oilers on both my machines. This one is good for tiny ball oilers and the side-oiling ports (conical openings at a steep angle) on my lathe - it has a much smaller nose.
