My contractor renovating our bathroom had never seen these and couldn't imagine it would work, having a pocket door with a round opening like any door with a standard knob.Fought with him a bit as his doubtful nature grew, but was thrilled to prove him wrong in the end. We love the final result, even though he did need to make a minor adjustment or two to the wall-side opening to get it properly aligned.Matches my other finishes perfectly, and locks with a little wiggling, but I think that's due to the reluctant installer.

These are a clear step above the entry level pocket door hardware (of which I'm not a fan as it looks cheap and generic). These do not. They are classic and good quality and at a much lower price point than higher end options which can easily start costing over $200 per door.

I recently installed a pocket door and this latch worked perfectly in the factory predrilled hole on the door. No need to mortiss out anything. A very fast and attractive latch for a pocket door.

Main assembly screws stripped out, and the metal used in the locking mechanism are made of soft metal which bends and jams the lock.The tiny screws that hold the connector linking the lock mechanism and the outside of the lock are also made of soft metal and one broke inside the lock.Don’t buy this piece of junk.DO NOT BUY THIS JUNK!
