Reversible door knob for right or left hand use
The interior door knob can be rotated to work in both directions way. The black door knob can be installed on both right-handed and left-handed doors.
Adjustable latch
Adjustable latch to fit 2 3/8" or 2 3/4" backsets. Before you purhcase the inteior door knob, measure the backsets.
Make the faceplates in center of the doors
Fits on 1 3/8" to 1 3/4" thick doors. Before you purhcase the inteior door knobs, measure the thickness.

We are having some fun re-doing our entryway and wanted to work on re-doing our doors as part of it. One of them we applied a fun peel and stick wrap to and were looking for hardware that would "blend in" well - and this more than does the job!!! I love it!! The matte black matches the book case we installed next to the door, the round, low profile-ness of the knob itself works with the wrap we installed too. I even enjoy turning it feels nice, well made, easy to install, and we will probably continue to update doors with these knobs all over the house!

Got this to replace an ugly bronze knob, installation was straightforward. The locking mechanism is simple to push inward. Best of all I like the modern look.

So, these are cool. Really trendy, feel well made. Good turning action, solid closure, all that.However:- The backing plates are square. Obviously.The ones you're probably replacing? Are probably round, like every other doorknob in the world.Which means you're going to either have an unpainted semicircle around this doorknob, or you're going to be repainting every door before you swap them out. Or some combination of those, where you'll also have an awkward paint-bump around the edges.- The latch/bolt plates are also square. Most aren't, most are rounded-corner style. Get yourself a chisel, because you're going to be squaring-off all your latch-holes so you can mount the new plates.- Metal tools will scratch these knobs very easily. You're going to want to take the knob itself off before screwing it into the door, otherwise doing the awkward-screwdriver-angle to torque screws down is going to scratch up your nice matte black. Ask me how I know.- The lock-latch is WAY TOO EASY TO HIT ACCIDENTALLY. I've already accidentally locked several rooms by bumping it and having the door swing shut. That's annoying, and the unlock-hole is really awkward to get at again without removing the damn doorknob first.- They don't make (at least, not that I can find) a closet/non-locking version of these. Which means buying different style knobs for closets, or risking locking closets accidentally, which is kind of dumb too.

I got this for the closet door in my babyรขโฌโขs nursery because it matches the color scheme. I was drawn to the sleek and modern design of the brushed brass. The installation instructions are very detailed but are geared towards drilling into a new door. So they would be helpful if you are starting from scratch, not very relevant to switching a knob out. But, itรขโฌโขs a straightforward task even to the uninitiated.Fortunately, I was just replacing an existing knob so swapping them out was very simple and took under 5 minutes. Our house was built in the mid-aughts so I assume all of our doors are a standard size and width. I didnรขโฌโขt have to adjust the latch mechanism. Iรขโฌโขm also seven months pregnant so I was extra delighted with how smooth the process was.

Super nice looking was pumped for them and splurged. Lock is hard to know if itรขโฌโขs actually locked and sensitive for price thought would be better.

I wanted to love these but honestly do not get them. The locks lock very easily. Sometimes I open the door from the inside, my hand or finger just grazes the toggle that locks the door and I donรขโฌโขt notice and then the door locks behind me. Iรขโฌโขve been locked out of several rooms and once accidentally locked myself into my own basement. I didnรขโฌโขt even have my phone on me, thank god I have a walkout basement, but seeing as all my exterior doors were locked I had to break into my own house through the windowรขโฌยฆ definitely recommend looking at other knobs.
