Since we sometimes (doubtless not the best move) use our fire pit for burning very hot things like manzanita debris, the screening on the lid to the fire pit got destroyed. This replacement is the perfect fit and of high quality. The handle is nicer than our original one. So glad it was available at a fair price.

Nice fire pit screen, when covered with firepit cover guarantees water will run off and not stand on firepit cover. Sparks are safely contained on windy night around the firepit !!

We have had our fire pit for several years but the spark screen that came with it only lasted one season. Replacement screens around our area were the same flimsy type we had before so we didn't bother to get a replacement until I saw this heavy duty screen on Amazon. We decided to try it and are thrilled at how well made and heavy it is for the money. Size was just perfect too. Very happy with this purchase.

This screen arrived yesterday. Excellent item! It was well packaged, arrived quickly, and is definitely heavy duty. More of a wire mesh (which is what I wanted) than a screen. Looking forward to being able to use burn barrel with less flying spark worries.

The fire screen just arrived and the quality looks very good, the stainless is non magnetic which indicates it is a good quality stainless. It is beautiful to look at but I understand it won’t be after it is used. I expect it to turn dark and know the screen may warp but I’m OK with that and know that is normal for stainless steel. I think it will hold up and not rust through which is why I spent the extra money for stainless

I like the low profile but the wire mesh has rusted after only two fires. I am going to try and extend its life by applying some high temperature paint but it won't be long before the mesh deteriorates completely.

Good bang for your buck for a 27" screen. It seems fairly solid, but I still don't know how it reacts to heat.

The screen that came with the fire pit wore out. This screen looks like it should be better.
